Two Minute Silence formed in Germany back in 2002 when the members of
the band were still at school the band are a five-piece noise outfit and
their ages range from 18 to 23. The band are influenced by bands such
as Poison The Well, As I Lay Dying, Darkest hour and many of bands in
the metal-core scene.
The album starts off with a short introduction of someone walking and
chains rattling and then the band blast straight into the first track
titled 'Last Funeral', the lead vocals are screamy and raw sounding with
more sing a long vocals for the chorus. 'Till Death Us Do Part' has an
outstanding introduction with a mixture of heavy guitar riffs and banging
drumming sounding like a machine gun going off.
There are some impressive moments on this album the band have an overall
good sound where one minute the vocals are raw in your face screams and
then the next the vocals are more sing a long style which the band manage
to pull off extremely well. The instrumental playing is top notch with
great guitar riffs and hectic drumming especially on the introduction
to 'Beauty Of Death'.
If you’re a fan of any of the bands influences you will most probably
enjoy Two Minute Silence, they are extremely talented but I will say they
bring absolutely nothing new to the genre and sound like so many bands
around these days.
