Inme have been together since 1996 and have released a number of albums
and completed many tours across the country supporting some huge bands
from Feeder, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Soil and many others which has helped
the band create a steady fan base. The band have been through their fair
share of up's and down's from being label less for a while to the bands
bass player Joe Morgan leaving the band in 2006 which is enough to finish
off most bands, but not InMe. The band have always been passionate about
music so the band brought in vocalist Dave Mcpherson's brother Greg Mcpherson
into the fold to play bass. Since then, the band have been busy in the
studio working on their forthcoming album 'DayDream Anonymous' which will
be released upon the world in the middle of September. The first single
to be released from their forthcoming album is 'I Won't Let Go' and it’s
a great song.
'I Won't Let Go' sounds really big and rocking and a lot heavier than
the bands previous releases. Dave seem's full of confidence with his vocals
sounding better than ever, the band as a whole sound a lot more tighter
and Greg seems to have fitted in perfectly.
It’s a great welcome back for InMe, it’s hard enough for any
band to carry on with an original band member leaving the band after ten
years, but InMe have proved it can be done with a more heavier mature
sound. The bands forthcoming album 'DayDream Anonymous' is going to be
worth waiting for and could be quite a personal record considering how
much the band have been through over the past year or so.
4/5
