Gloucestershire based four piece alternative rock band Irritant are one
of the most exciting up and coming metal bands in UK at the moment, they
have a progressive rock sound with such a huge variety of music being
played in their songs, each song seems to go on forever but with the bands
forever changing sounds throughout their songs, you don’t get bored,
instead you are left wanting more from the band. The band are releasing
their second single of 2007 in September with the release of 'Dark City'.
If you love guitar driven rock music you will love 'Dark City' as the
song is a pure guitar driven rock song with vocalist Niall's slow sounding
vocals sounding better than ever. The guitar solo half way through the
song sounds immense and provides a good variety to the song whilst making
way for the uplifting chorus.
Irritant have proved once again what a great band they are with another
stunning single release. The band have the sound, ability and commitment
to be touring with some of the biggest American rock bands. I personally
think it’s time for Irritant to step up a level and work on getting
a full length album released. The band are still young and talented and
have an extremely bright future ahead of them and have the potential to
go far.
