Here we have the 'US Bombs' a band that have been through hell and back.
Over the past year alone the band have suffered some lethal blows from
fist fights and band break-ups to the loss of friends and loved ones which
is enough to end any band. But not the US Bombs. After several members
of the band have produced offspring including the birth of Duane's son,
Clash Peters, the US Bombs are back with a renewed sense of chemistry
amongst each other -the band is stronger than ever.
So here we have it the all new US Bombs album titled 'We Are the Problem'.
The album is typical Us Bombs old school street punk rock with a few new
sounds.
opener/title track 'We Are The Problem' is an old school, sing a long
catchy punk track. 'Heartbreak Motel' sees the band break away from the
sound they are known for, has a bit of a ska sound and is a song you find
yourself wanting to skank and sing along to
'Last Dischord' is a ten second, raw sounding shoutalong. 'Guns Of The
West' is another song that sees the band moving slightly into the ska
territory and once again they have pulled it off really well. 'Tonight'
is a slow singalong song.
The album finishes with 'Cheers' which is an "in your face"
anthem with lots of shouts of "Cheers, to you, to me".
Duane Peters and his boys are definitely back better than ever with a
stunning album which shows nothing will split this band.
4/5
