Single Review
Bright Eyes - Hot KnivesBright Eyes - Hot Knives

After tours of North America the UK with festival appearances, Bright Eyes release the second single from their widely acclaimed album ‘Cassadaga’.
It’s exactly what you’ve become to expect of Conor Oberst and co, folksy, rhythmic and with windswept vocals, there’s strings and rolling drums thrown in there too for good measure. The sound is similar to Arcade Fire, with comparable aesthetics in the form of the orchestral factor and the nostalgic lyrics. This one’s tough to review, it’s a great song without being too mainstream, it would sit perfectly on ‘Wind in the Wires’ by Patrick Wolf. And that’s no bad thing.
