Now this is what I like, when a new band comes along and releases a beautiful
sounding, catchy song and this is exactly what Liverpool quintet The Sonic
Hearts have done with the release of their debut single 'Hold On' which
is only being released as a limited 7" 'Everton' blue vinyl and also
a digital download from itunes.
'Hold On' is the perfect debut single for The Sonic Hearts, it sounds
beautiful and is full of melody and frontman Seans vocals fit in perfectly
with the bands summery sound. 'Hold On' has the potential to be one of
the big summer indie anthems once it’s heard on the airwaves.
Recently, there has been a lot of new Indie bands hoping to be the next
big thing and out of the ones I have heard, The Maccabees seem to be the
only band that really has what it takes to become big, well that was until
I heard 'Hold On' by The Sonic Hearts. The band are currently in the final
stages of recording their debut album and if it’s full of more tracks
as good as or better than 'Hold On' then I think the band could become
big, lets just see what the album brings once it’s released.
4/5
