There is going to be no escape from The Zico Chain soon as they are becoming
one of the hardest working bands in the UK. In 2006 the band released
their self-titled debut EP and toured the country supporting pretty much
every band that they could. The band have also just played the main stage
at Download festival just a few weeks back and are ready to release a
new single called 'Anaemia' before going on tour again for a rotating
headline tour with Flood Of Red and The Ghost Of A Thousand.
'Anaemia' carries on from where their previous single 'Where Would you
Rather Be' left off with some raw guitar riffs, constant standout drumming
and Chris Gilthero's raw shouty trashy vocals sounding better than ever
with good repetitive vocals of "so long Anaemia" closing the
song.
The Zico Chain are the kind of band that the UK really needs and it’s
good to see the band sound better after every release, the band are currently
working on their debut full length album which will be released later
this year, and once it is released expect to see The Zico Chain touring
the country many times over in support of it.
