Single

Oh, feel the funk. Bass and drums (not drum and bass!) and some northern
bloke talking about how he could have been the heavyweight champion of
the world. I'm sure they all feel like that at some point or another,
especially after a few cans of special brew. But no, this song is bloody
good. Irritatingly catchy, upbeat, and funky. This could go a long way
in the charts, no doubt. If Kate Nash can get anywhere near number one,
this could potentially top every chart ever invented.
The b-side to this single is "18-30" and seems to have been
constructed in a very similar way to the single. I'm yet to hear the album
but if all the songs are put together like that, then this winning formula
of theirs could get very tiring and backfire massively. If not, then hoorah,
two very good songs that seem to stand out from the rest of today's music.
Groovy baby.
There's another track which isn't actually a song, it's just some blokes
talking. If you catch these guys live, the singer might babble out parts
of this track between songs.
4/5
