30 Seconds To Mars are firing out singles like there is no tomorrow, it
only seems like a couple of weeks ago I reviewed their single 'The Kill'
and now they are back with another single called 'From Yesterday' and to
be fair they couldn’t of timed it better being a few weeks after the
band played the Download Festival in front of thousands of rock fans.
'From Yesterday' is one of the weakest songs on the bands album, 'A Beautiful
Lie', the guitars, bass and drums are well toned down but do perk up a
bit towards the end of the song but the only saving point of the song
is Jared Leto's strong vocals which just can’t be faulted on this
song.
I’m sure the single is going to do well for the band as they are
a good band and have a huge fan base which is forever growing but when
they release a song like this it does make me wonder how they are so big
when there are so many bands doing the same as them but sounding better
but getting no recognition at all.
3/5
