It’s interesting what a line up change can do to a band, especially
in From Autumn to Ashes’ case when vocalist Benjamin Perri quit the
band just as they were due to go into the studio to record their current
album 'Holding A Wolf By The Ears'. With most bands this would split the
band up for good but not in From Autumn to Ashes’ case, it has made
them stronger and better than ever before with drummer Francis Mark now
taking on lead vocals as well as drumming. To coincide with the bands current
UK tour they are releasing a new single titled 'Pioneers'.
'Pioneers' is the closing track of the bands current album 'Holding A
Wolf By The Ears' and is a song that features a mixture of sound starting
with melodic guitar work and raw vocals which swiftly turn to sing a long
clean vocals which rotate quite regularly throughout the song.
Overall 'Pioneers' is a quality track and showcases how the band have
changed for the best not just vocally but altogether with a much more
stronger and newer sound, which you could almost claim to be a new band.
