Over the past few years Tom DeLonge has been busy focusing the majority of his time to his To The Stars Academy and Media companies, a company which looks at exploring UFO’s and other scientific moments as well as creating and releasing space related TV shows, movies and books, luckily for fans of DeLonge’s music he has finally found time to record with Angels And Airwaves who are now back with their brand new single ‘Rebel Girl’ which is being followed up with a north American tour later in the year and the hope of more music dropping around that time.
‘Rebel Girl’ has been well worth the wait, it has that signature synth driven Angels And Airwaves sound and is catchy as hell from start to finish, the song is a love song and lyrically well written and in no time you will find yourself singing “do-do-do you want to go back to where we started back before we were broken hearted, come my come-come I gotta tell ya, the shoe fits my little Cinderella” along with Tom DeLonge.
The release of ‘Rebel Girl’ is Angles And Airwaves first new song release in over 3 years and it really does feature the band at the top of their game and I can’t wait for more new music to come later in the year and for the band to come back to the UK for a tour as let’s face it, it’s been a mighty long time.
