The Vincent Black Shadow are a really exciting new four piece band from
Vancouver. The band took their name from a mysterious motorcycle in the
Hunter S. Thompson books where the bike was referred to as 'The Vincent
Black shadow'. The bands debut album 'Fears In The Water' is out on the
14th May and the bands lead single release 'Metro' is out a week before
on the 7th May and what a great song it is.
'Metro' is one of the most happy, upbeat catchy songs I have heard in
a long time and it’s got something to do with the great classical
piano piece that runs throughout the whole song and Cassandra Ford's stunning
vocals that give The Vincent Black Shadow such a great sound. Once you
listen to 'Metro' you are going to be hooked and the songs going to be
going around in your head for a long time to come.
I really cant wait to check out the bands album 'Fear's In The Water'
and also check out the Vincent Black Shadows live because if they put
in as much energy live as they do on 'Metro' we are seriously in for a
stunning live show.
5/5
