Tremonti - Dust
Tremonti - Dust

Admittedly no matter what I will always be biased as Mr Mark Tremonti has always been an idol of mine; Creed, Alter Bridge and now his solo project have all been absolutely superb. Whilst I wasn’t the biggest fan of the latest Alterbridge album it still had its moments, I fear the fact that everyone has all these new projects to work on had a negative effect on that one - they’re working on a new one now so hopefully they’ll iron that out.

Once again it’s a slam dunk, I’ve listened to it quite a lot and the songs never get old, I don’t dislike a single one, I just generally love it. His voice more than anything has been the biggest shock to me, because he has always worked with such dominant vocalists for him to be front and center was always something that concerned me to start with but Mr Tremonti had an absolutely fantastic voice and is arguably up there with the best guitarists in the world, I’ve caught them live too and he really steps up and looks like a natural leader up there. Heavy, light, fast paced, slow tempo, dirty/clean mix in tone, brilliant chorus lines with excellent clean vocals with a vast range.

I cannot employee people enough to get out there and pick up anything that’s got Mark Tremonti associated with it, you will not be disappointed.
