NOFX – Six Years On Dope
October is looking set to be one of the best months ever for new music as recently so many bands have announced new albums for an October release and NOFX are the next band added to the list as they have just announced that their thirteenth studio album ‘First Ditch Attempt’ will release on Fat Wreck Chords on the 7th October and have just dropped the first single to be taken from the album titled ‘Six Years On Dope’.
‘Six Years On Dope’ is a fast and furious punk rock number which clocks in at 1minute and 32 seconds and as soon as the song comes to an end I can guarantee that you will be reaching for the play button again as the song really is that good. Lyrically the song talks about the years of substance abuse from the band in that much comical NOFX way.
On the back of hearing ‘Six Years On Dope’ I am quite excited for the release of ‘first Ditch Attempt’ in October and also the prospect of a UK headline tour following in 2017.
