Bayside – Pretty Vacant

American pop-punkers Bayside have just released their brand new single ‘Pretty Vacant’ which is lifted from their forthcoming seventh studio album ‘Vacancy’ which is due for release on the 19th August.

‘Pretty Vacant’ follows on nicely from the bands 2014 album ‘Cult’ in the way that it is a smooth flowing catchy punk-rock song and the lead vocals from Anthony Raneri are as strong and unique sounding as ever. Lyrically ‘Pretty Vacant’ tells the story of someone having the life they thought they knew disappear and the struggles you face in the progress and judging from what frontman Anthony Raneri recently said it could quite well be the theme for the whole of the ‘Vacany’ album when it drops in August.

Bayside are easily at the top of their game at the moment and the release of ‘Pretty Vacant’ is setting Bayside up for their most successful year yet and I personally can’t wait for ‘Vacancy’ along with the legion of hardcore Bayside fans.
