Asking Alexandria are coming back home to the
UK throughout October and November for a 15 date
headline tour which is sure to sell out way before
each show and will see the band play to other
30,000 people over the matters of weeks and to
coincide with the tour the band have just announced
their new single ‘Moving On’ which
is due for release on the 20th October.
‘Moving On’ is a ballad which was
originally featured on their third studio album
‘From Death To Destiny’ which was
released pretty much an year ago and I have to
say that the song is the most moving song on the
album as it features Asking Alexandria taking
a few steps back and slowing things fully down
as front man Danny Worsnop sings his heart out
as he beautifully belts out the lyrics “I’ve
never been so torn up in all my life, I should
have seen this coming, I’ve never felt so
hopeless, than I do tonight, I don’t wanna
do this anymore”.
It is safe to say that Asking Alexandria have
had their ups and downs as a band and at one point
the band nearly reached boiling point due to Danny
Worsnop’s nonstop drinking and partying
but it seems that the little break they took at
the start of the year has done the band wonders
and now they are currently on the road across
America on the Rockstar Mayhem Tour alongside
Avenged Sevenfold, Korn and Trivium and in only
a matter of months they will make their much anticipated
return to the UK with ‘Moving On’
being the slow paced anthem to mark their return.
