 
The hard hitting rap/rock legends Body Count are
back with their brand new single ‘Talk Shit,
Get Shot’ the song is taken from the bands
forthcoming album ‘Manslaughter’ which
is due for release on the 16th June and happens
to be the band’s first album in over 8 years
with their last album release being 2006’s
‘Murder 4 Hire’.
‘Talk Shit, Get Shot’ is a big hard
hitting song about people who shout their mouth
off without thinking and trolls who spend the
majority of their spare time on the internet slagging
people off and generally making other people’s
lives hell, it is safe to say that if Body Count
got their way these people would be dealt with
in a violent way as the video for the single clearly
shows off the bands hard hitting solution. Musically
the song is a battle field with Ernie C going
all out with his amazingly heavy guitar riffs,
Ill Will at the top of his game with banging drum
beats and Ice-T laying down some seriously hardcore
lyrics in a hard hitting way and this whole mix
easily put’s Body Count back at the top
of the rap/rock crossover genre right alongside
Limp Bizkit.
Body Count are back and if ‘Talk Shit, Get
Shot’ is anything to go then their forthcoming
13 track album is going to be worth the wait as
Ice-T and co seriously have some anger to vent
and I personally can’t wait to hear more
from these guys.
