Here we have Blackfire; a Native American punk band that are politically
driven and full of energy. They have been around since 1989 and have toured
pretty much all over the US many times.
This recording is live from the Warped tour 2004 and features ten tracks
plus a dvd side which features the tracks in video format along with many
extra media features. The cd features some classic tracks such as "No
Control", "The War They Wage", "Exile" and a
awesome cover of the Ramones classic song "I Believe In Miracles"
amongst many others.
If you want to listen to a band that plays really fast loud punk rock
that reflects the hopes, freedoms and barriers of today's world then you
cant go wrong with Black Fire as they're just that. The cd clocks in at
only twenty-eight minutes long but you're getting value for money with
the dvd side and all the extras. The only downside I can find with this
cd is how each track suddenly finishes; but that's to be expected with
a live recording.
