Sister are currently busy working on their second
studio album which is due for release on Metal
Blade Records sometime in 2014 but in the meantime
they are days away from releasing their brand
new single ‘Sick’ which is being released
in time for the bands European tour with Wednesday
13 which kicks off at the start of November.
‘Sick’ is quite a fast paced energetic
number and as soon as the song starts off you
can understand why the band were picked to support
Wednesday 13 around Europe as both artists music
are so similar as Sister thrash their way through
the song with a punk attitude and repetitive chants
of “Sick, Sick, Sick”.
The B-side ‘Two–Headed Dog’
is a cover of the Roky Erickson song and it is
exclusively being bundled with the ‘Sick’
single release and once again is a fast paced
rock N’ roll song with a punk rock attitude
mainly due to Jamie’s big repetitive gruff
vocals.
Swedish rockers Sister formed way back in 2006
and after sharing the stage with Fozzy, Crashdiet
and Wednesday 13 it seems like things are really
starting to take off with the band and I can certainly
see this duo of songs going down a storm at the
Wednesday 13 support shows.
