Silicon Vultures - Self Titled EPSilicon Vultures - Self Titled EP

I first heard of The Silicon Vultures back in January when I got hold of their debut single 'Sour Tits' to review. The song was a fast paced hardcore song packed with different synth sounds bringing out a catchy vibe, Delaney Jae's screamo vocals matched those of Blood Brothers front man Johnny Whitney proving that the British can clearly match the big American bands if not better.

A few months on and the Silicon Vultures are back and ready to release their debut ep which features their debut single 'Sour Tits' and four other song making up the five track ep.

'Incent Wounded New' opens up with a buzzing alarm introduction with Delaney Jae's vocals screaming into place shortly after, the song is fast and angry and leaves you putting your stereo up as loud as possible for maximum enjoyment. 'Howling Station Teamfeast' starts off with a disco beat introduction and features catchy synth sounds throughout the whole track, the vocals are a mixture of screams and are a bit more sing a long for the chorus. 'Born Heaven For The Vampire Set' has a minute long spooky introduction which is followed up with a minute of fast screamo vocals. The ep finishes with 'DVTF' which is a short but fast assault of banging drums and roaring vocals.

The Silicon Vultures have a huge noisy sound that just needs to be listened to as loud as possible for maximum enjoyment, with a mixture of disco/dance synths, pounding bass and fast crunching guitars you really cant go wrong and with the likes of Radio 1 behind them and an ep of faultless songs the Silicon Vultures surely have a healthy future ahead of them.

4/5
