 
Alter Bridge are gearing up to release their forth
studio album ‘Fortress’ on the 30th
September and weeks after the release they will
be over in the UK with Shinedown and Halestorm
in support to raise the roof of many Arena’s
as they embark on their sold out UK tour but in
the meantime Alter Bridge have just unleashed
their new single ‘Addicted To Pain’.
‘Addicted To Pain’ really does prove
why Alter Bridge are one of the most talked about
American rock bands at the moment, you just need
to hear the opening drum beats from Scott Phillips
and the fast paced guitar riffs from Mark Tremonti
and within seconds you will be drawn in to the
fast paced feel of ‘Addicted To Pain’,
vocally Miles Kennedy shows off his distinctive
vocals in a fast accessible way as the song generally
feels like a natural progression for Alter Bridge
as they real do turn up the heat with this 4minute
heavy beast of a track whilst also managing to
keep things sounding melodic.
If ‘Addicted To Pain’ is anything
to go by then ‘Fortress’ is easily
going to be the biggest and best release of Alter
Bridges career and I am pretty sure that ‘Addicted
To Pain’ will keep the fans smiling until
the album drops on the 30th September.
