Elliot Minor formed back in 2005 and spent a lot time on the road gigging
which helped the band get signed to Repossession Records. November 2006
saw the band flown out to Los Angeles to work on their first single with
producer Jim Wirt and the result is 'Parallel Worlds'.
'Parallel Worlds' is about spooky paranormal events that band members
Alex Davies and Ed Minton have witnessed happen in the past. It’s
a great track starting with a stunning introduction keyboard piece that
seems to drive the song and give it a happy catchy vibe. Alex Davies’
vocals are really good and work even better alongside Ed Minton's vocals
giving a duel assault of sing a long vocals. Also, the guitar solo towards
the end of the song stands out nicely as well.
The band are still in LA recording the rest of their debut album with
Jim Wirt and I personally cant wait to hear the final result as Parallel
Worlds is one of the best songs I have heard so far this year.
5/5
