The Disappointments are a new band on the horizon from Stoke-On-Trent and
are only seventeen years old and have been snapped up by mighty Fierce Panda
records which is home to many great bands like The Blackout, Capdown, Winnebago
Deal and many others.
'No Charades' is The Disappointments first ever release and is taken
from the bands forthcoming mini album 'Reasons To Revolt'. The song has
a political theme and is a fast and furious punk rock track full of killer
guitar riffs and clocks in at just under 3 minutes. The b-side to the
single is 'Strike A Bow' which is another short fast punk song with a
bit of a catchy vibe.
Considering the Disappointments are only seventeen years old they surely
know how to write a good tune and play it at fast speed and full of energy.
Their mini album 'Reasons To Revolt' will be worth checking out once its
released in April.
