 
Since 2008 Havens Basement have been on one hell
of a rollercoaster ride as let’s face it
since the start the band have put 110% into everything
they do but just as they are about to take off
there is something just around the corner which
sets them back and the biggest setback for the
band to date was when ex vocalist Richie Hevanz
announced his departure from the band back in
2010 but despite this being a big setback for
the band when it happened it has also turned out
to work well for the band as new vocalist Aaron
Buchanan has fitted into the band smoothly and
they are now slowly rising across the world with
their aggressive rock n roll sound.
Heavens Basement have just completed a sold out
run of shows across the UK and are now due to
play the Lock Up Stage at the Reading and Leeds
festival over the August bank holiday weekend,
and if their second stage slot at Download Festival
is anything to go by then Reading and Leeds are
not going to know what’s hit them when these
guys take to the stage as festivals are clearly
where they shine the most.
To coincide with their Reading and Leeds performances
Heavens Basement are releasing ‘Heart Breaking
Son Of A Bitch’ as their next single to
be taken from their outstanding ‘Filthy
Empire’ album. ‘Heart Breaking Son
Of A Bitch’ is a big tub-thumper of a song
which has a massive stadium rock sound which should
have their American idols Black Stone Cherry and
Buckcherry slightly worried as Hevens Basement
have now mastered the art of writing, recording
and performing big sounding stadium rock songs.
Heavens Basement are all the proof that you need
to see that Rock N Roll is truly alive and kicking
and the fact that they are British makes everything
that little bit better, give ‘Heart Breaking
Son Of A Bitch’ a listen and if your ears
agree head out to purchase ‘Filthy Empire’
right away as I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
