Since their formation in 199 Kings Of Leon have
been on one hell of a Journey and it was 2008’s
‘Only By The Night’ which helped catapult
the band to superstardom as since the release
of that album Kings Of Leon have been playing
sold out arena and stadium shows across the world
and also headlining every festival they have been
asked to play over the years with a double header
of headline spots at the V Festival just around
the corner.
Kings Of Leon have been working on their sixth
studio album ‘Mechanical Bull’ for
some time now and it is scheduled for a September
the 23rd release date but in the meantime Kings
Of Leon have just unleashed their new single ‘Super
Soaker’ which happens to be a massive anthemic
track which oozes in radio friendliness. The song
opens with some solid drum beats with the guitars
and bass coming in moments later with Caleb Followill’s
unique vocals coming in around the 30 second mark,
his vocals are big and strong sounding yet it
is the outstanding drumming from Nathan Followill
which really brings the song to life.
Overall ‘Super Soaker’ is a great
track and will instantly become a regular in the
bands future set lists, it also provides a good
teaser of what to expect from the bands sixth
studio album once it touches down in September
which currently feels like ages away but will
come around in no time at all.
