Towers of London have been around since 2003 and to be honest I have never
been interested in the band or a fan of their music. Over the past six months
the band have tried to gain themselves more fame through the use of TV.
First of all with their fly-on-the-wall TV series which was shown on Bravo
TV towards the end of 2006 and secondly with Donny Tourette appearing in
celebrity big brother in January which ended up being a big mistake and
didn’t do the band any favours at all.
The band are just about to release their new single 'I'M A Rat' which
also happens to be the opening track to the bands debut album 'Blood Sweat
and Towers'. The song has a trashy punk sound to it and catchy but repetitive
chorus of "I'm a rat, I'm a rat' I'm a rat' I'm a rat" and also
a nice sounding guitar solo.
I'm a Rat is a pretty average song but certainly the best song I have
heard from the Towers Of London so far and with the repetitive but sing
a long vocals you can just imagine the fans going mad to this song at
Towers Of London gigs.
3/5
