Sonic Boom Six have been working there butts off
since they formed back in 2002 when the UK ska-punk
scene was at its peak and throughout that time
they have been well hyped on the underground scene
and toured alongside many high profile bands,
October saw the release of the bands self titled
forth studio album which is easily their most
ambitious offering yet.
On the 11th February Sonic Boom Six are releasing
‘Keep On Believing’ which happens
to be the latest single to be taken from their
self titled album and my god it is an brilliant
song, it see’s Sonic Boom Six keep to their
classic ways of creating ska-punk music but this
time around they have upped their game and really
gone all out on the rock with some big riffs and
general musical moments which make you wonder
if Skindred have thrown any words of wisdom to
the Sonic Boom Six camp, the song oozes in passion
and has clearly been written for the live circuit
due to its catchy nature and chant-a-long moments.
It seems like the years of hard work are finally
paying off for Sonic Boom six as they are starting
2013 in style with the release of ‘Keep
On Believing’, a tour supporting The Blackout
and a massive headline all within the first two
months of the year.
