The Ripps are a three piece band from Coventry who are such a fun happy
band who I just happen to love. 'Loco' is the bands new single and comes
with a b side which is a cover of the classic, The Specials song 'Too Much
Too Young'.
'Loco' is just over two minutes in length and is a love song about two
dysfunctional people who want to party, the song is fast poppy punk and
one of the most happiest sounding songs I have heard in a long time. The
b-side to the single is a cover version of 'Too Much Too Young' which
is great due to the stunning happy vocals from Patch Lagunas and I’m
pretty sure The Specials would even dance around to the happy vibe The
Ripps have given to the song.
With songs as good as this I really can’t wait to hear The Ripps
album 'Long Live The Ripps' when it’s released in a couple of weeks
as The Ripps are the most fun and happiest band I have heard in a long
time.
4/5
