 
When Lostprophets released their fifth studio
album ‘Weapons’ back in April I just
knew that ‘Jesus Walks’ would be a
future single and the band are now gearing up
to release the song on the 10th September ahead
of their November headline tour which also includes
an appearance at the UK leg of the Vans Warped
Tour.
‘Jesus Walks’ is a big powerfull sounding
rock and roll anthem which has a massive radio
friendly feel running through it, Watkins vocals
are fantastic whilst the rest of the band come
together for some tight and catchy musicianship,
lyrically the song is well written and after hearing
the chorus for the first time you will find yourself
singing along with Watkins.
I found ‘Weapons’ to be quite an difficult
album to get into but after a couple of listens
there were some gems to be found and ‘Jesus
Walks’ is easily the best track on the album
and go to do wonders for Lostprophets when it
is released.
