The Horrors are a nicely named five piece band from Southend, Essex who
have just finished their nineteenth date NME tour playing along The Automatic,
The view and Mumm - Ra. The Horrors have now decided it’s time to
release their fourth single 'Gloves'.
'Gloves' starts off with a good musical introduction and Faris Rotter’s
vocals soon come in and they’re definitely vocals you either love
or hate, the song has a good break down where you hear mellow drums beats
and more speak along type vocals from Faris Rotter before he starts screaming
again.
I’m totaly not sure what to make of the Horrors, they are musically
good but vocally a bit hit or miss and Gloves is a pretty average song
offering nothing breathtaking. It will be good to see what the bands album
'Strange House' has to offer when it’s released on the 5th March.
3/5
