Evarose are a four piece all female pop-rock band
from Oxfordshire who have built up a solid following
due to their contestant touring across the country
and also the heavy rotation of their songs on
Kerrang TV such as their latest video ‘Changes’
which see’s them poke fun at so many different
bands and music videos that have been released
over the past ten to twenty years.
The girls new EP ‘Elements’ has just
been released and each song on it has a massive
radio friendly feel, so big to the point that
any song on the could easily be a future single
with videos popping up on the likes of Kerrang
and Scuzz TV in the near future.
The opening track ‘Best Left Alone’
is full of so much bounce that you will be left
jumping up in the air like you were a kid all
over again mastering the art of bouncy castles.
‘Educate Yourself’ is more of a serious
sounding song and once again showcases just how
good Evarose are as musicians as the guitars riffs
big sounding with a catchy edge whilst Dannika
Webber’s vocals stand out due to her unique
sound. ‘There’s No Such Thing As Something
For Nothing’ is a mid tempo track where
the girls settle down and give it their all with
some big drum beats, fantastic guitar playing
and a set of vocals which are more catchy than
the common cold. And the bands current single
‘Change’ happens to be the strongest
track on the EP, it is just crafted so well and
features a good mix of rock riffs mixed with pop
vocals and has an overall feel that is so big
sounding that you just can’t escape it.
Overall ‘Elements’ features 5 big
catchy tracks that are bound to be the soundtrack
to many teenagers summer, the songs on the EP
don’t do anything to set their music apart
from other artists in the same scene as them but
they each song is extremely listenable and has
enough melody and catchy vibe to get you hooked
from the start.
