Frank Turner has just completed his biggest headline
show to date which took place at Wembley Arena
in London and to coincide with the show and also
record store day he went on to release ‘I
Still Believe/ Sombody To Love’ as a double
A side 7” single but now record store day
has gone the double A side is being released as
a digital download on Monday.
‘I Still Believe’ is a live favourite
at Turner’s gigs and is a massively catchy
song where Turner strums his guitar with passion
whilst singing about believing in the need of
guitars, drums and desperate poetry and also rock
n roll saving us.
‘Somebody To Love’ is a cover of the
classic Queen song and Turner simple sings his
heart out from start to finish throughout the
song, vocally he is not a touch on Freddie Mercury
but then again anyone who covers a Queen song
makes a brave move as no one can quite match the
vocals of Mercury let alone beat them but Turner
has down well and put a great touch on a worldwide
classic song.
At the moment Frank Turner is at the top of his
game, the man is a workaholic and whilst he is
releasing songs of this quality I really can’t
see him slowing down.
