Many people were confused and gutted when Frank
Carter announced that he was leaving the Gallows
last summer to focus his time on a new band that
he had formed with his friend Jim Carroll, the
band’s debut at Bush Hall in London on valentine’s
day this year sold out way in advanced and ever
since then anyone who wasn’t lucky enough
to attend the show have been eagerly waiting to
see what Pure Love are all about and the wait
is now finally over as Pure Love have just unveiled
and released their debut single ‘Bury My
Bones’ as a free download over at their
website.
‘Bury My Bones’ is nothing like I
expected Pure Love to sound like yet is so damn
amazing and easily the best track I have heard
so far this year, the song is crammed with loving
pure singing vocals with Frank opening the song
with lyrics of “I am so sick of singing
about hate, it’s never gonna make a change”
which is obviously Frank thinking back of his
time with the Gallows and that it’s for
him to leave the hate behind and show the love,
instrumentally the song is massive with guitar
riffs sounding like they have been lifted from
The Darkness and pounding drum beats which give
Pure Love an overall stadium rock sound.
Since ‘Bury My Bones’ was released
online earlier today I have been listening to
it nonstop and I can honestly say that I don’t
think I will ever tire of listening to it as Frank
Carter and Jim Carroll have teamed up to create
my favourite new band and no one could quite understand
how excited I am to see what the future holds
for Pure Love and what their debut album is going
to feature and bring.
If you are yet to hear ‘Bury My Bones’
then seriously head over to http://therealpurelove.com
and download the track as I am pretty sure that
you won’t be disappointed.
