Bleeding Knees Club are a band who burst out of
the Australian music scene back in 2011 and ever
since have spent a lot of time in the UK touring
with many different bands and racking up a rapid
growing fan base, the band have just released their
new single ‘Nothing To Do’ which is
taken from the album of the same name which is due
for release at the start of March.
‘Nothing To Do’ is very much a DIY
punk song it sounds like it has been influenced
by bands such as The Vines and Art Brut, musically
it features a lot of bounce with a tinny vibe
and a set of vocals which sound slightly croaky
yet raw, the song only runs for 1minute and 51seconds
which is pretty much spot on length wise for this
type of track.
It is easy to see how Bleeding Knees Club have
gained so many fans over such a short period of
time and I am sure that ‘Nothing To Do’
is going to help maintain their fan base but I
can’t really see it grabbing the band more
fans.
3/5
