 
Lilygun are a female fronted alternative rock
band from London who are currently working on
their debut but in the meantime they are due to
release their latest single ‘Scum’
on the 30th January.
‘Scum’ is an average sounding song,
it has some good instrumental work with Belle’s
drumming standing out the most whilst the vocals
from Anne-Christina are strong and nice sounding
but there are a couple of major downside to the
track and the first is the fact that the track
is just too slow, it feels like things need to
sped up quite a bit and secondly the outro to
the song seems pretty pointless and long drawn
out.
It will be interesting to see what the band’s
debut album is like when it is released later
in the year but at the moment ‘Scum’
is going to struggle to give Lilygun the bug break
that they are looking for.
