Born Blonde - SolarBorn Blonde – Solar

Born Blonde formed back in 2009 and since then they have been busy creating and perfecting the most psychedelic spinny sound that I have heard in a long time and have just released their debut single ‘Solar’ which is the perfect sound track to get stoned to.

‘Solar’ starts off with a real soft sounding acoustic guitar but as the song slowly progresses a wide variety of sounds come in giving the song an Ian Brown feel crossed with the spooky sounds of a horror film such as Halloween, the vocals are really soft sounding and fail to stand out above the soundscapes but do manage to compliment the whole chilled out spacey vibe of the song.

The more you listen to ‘Solar’ the more it will appeal to you as you seem to get more out of it after each listen whilst also feeling slightly spun out, I feel Born Blonde are an truly exciting new band and their experimental edge could take them to dizzy heights within the music industry.

4/5
