Enter shikari are a band that we have followed since
pretty much the start at Alternative Vision which
I am sure you will have gathered from the massive
list of Enter Shikari reviews on the review list,
anyway Enter Shikari have been busy working on new
material and have just released their new single
‘Quelle Surprise’.
‘Quelle Surprise’ is not a song to
mark the start of album number 3 and nor does
it coincide with tour dates but instead is a stand
alone single just like the band’s last single
‘Destabilise’ and is a song that the
band are so proud of that they decided they needed
people to hear it as soon as possible. As soon
as the song starts up you just know it is going
to be a classic Enter Shikari single in the way
that it is crammed to the brim with big synths
and Rou Reynolds captures his vocals with pure
aggression and passion creating the ultimate mix.
There is a lot going on in ‘Quelle Surprise’
but it is everything we have come to expect from
Enter Shikari but with a little bit more oomph
and anger, and it may well prove to be an insight
as to what to expect from album number 3.
