The Good Natured have just signed to Parlophone
Records and are just about to release their new
EP ‘Skeleton’ which has a super catchy
sound which sounds a bit like Kate Nash with a
lot of synths thrown in and a slight gothic twist.
The opening track on the EP is ‘Skeletons’
and the song flows with such a good vibe and proves
to be quite a happy track musically but lyrically
the song is about being stripped of all your emotional
and physical coverings leaving you like a skeleton
which everybody on this planet technically is,
the whole dark theme and catchy vibe works perfectly
together.
‘Wolves’ it a big dance infused song
about wolves dancing in the fire, the lyrics are
well written and are vocally executed in such
a clear passionate way, the synths running throughout
the track are really positive and will have you
reaching for your finest dancing shoes.
‘The Hourglass’ is a song about having
a good time but knowing that the good time might
only last for an hour and then knowing a bad time
is up ahead, musically the song is more sleepy
and darker sounding and tends to go on a bit too
long despite running for pretty much the same
amount of time as the previous tracks but it is
the overall melody which gives you the sense of
it out staying it’s welcome.
From listening to the ‘Skeleton’ EP
I have to say that I quite like the sound of The
Good Natured there are some really good moments
on the EP and I am sure they are going to gather
some real loyal fans in such a short space of
time once the EP is released.
