South Central are a Brighton-based electronic duo
who are well known for their big electronic tunes
and remixing skills and they now set to release
their new single ‘The Day I Die’ on
Monday.
‘The day I Die’ is a massive bass
thumping , bone breaking electronic tune that
has a big crossover club anthem meets pop tune
effect running through, the vocals are good but
are over shadowed by the big raging pulsating
beats which dominate the song.
The single features many different remixes of
the same song by artists such as The Prodigy,
The Rhythm Masters, The Qemists, The Toxic Avenger
and a few other artists and each remix is so different
from the last but at the same time I feel that
there are only so many remixes that you are willing
to listen to, however what I will say is that
The Prodigy remix is absolutely nuts and The Qemists
remix is the best, turning the track into a big
euphoric anthem.
Overall South Central may well be the masters
of beats but was it really necessary to get your
track remixed 5 times?
3/5
