Morrison - The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore
When I first came across James Morrison it was when he released his first
single from his 'Undiscovered' album called 'You Give Me Something' and
my first opinion was here we have a Chris Martin look a like who sounds
like James Blunt and I tried my best to avoid his music. I have now heard
his third single 'the Pieces Don't Fit Anymore' and I’m actually shocked
at how different it is from his debut single and how much I actually like
it.
'The Pieces Don’t Fit anymore' is a beautiful ballad about when
you get to a point of a relationship where you try everything to make
it work but nothing seems to make it work. The lyrics are well written
and meaningful and the strong vocals and guitar chords go well together.
It shows that its best to check out a singer/band fully before making
an opinion as James Morrison proves a talented man with this single and
its worth checking out his debut album if you can forgive him for his
dreadful debut single.
