Ever since I came across ‘Lightspeed’
by Twin Atlantic in 2008 I have been hooked by their
music and have enjoyed every single they have released
since as well as their debut mini album ‘Vivarium’
which was released back in September 2009 but since
then Twin Atlantic have slightly slipped off the
radar for me due to the fact that they have been
busy touring and haven’t released any new
material in a while but that is due to change as
the band are currently working on their debut album
‘Free’ and are set to release their
new single ‘Edit Me’ on the 14th February.
‘Edit Me’ is exactly what we have
come to expect from Twin Atlantic in the way that
it is a short but rocking stadium anthem that
soars with big time guitar riffs and really positive
Scottish sounding vocals from front man Sam McTrusty,
the only downside to the single is that it is
over far too soon but maybe that is my greed wanting
a few extra minutes of Twin Atlantic’s classic
sound.
2011 is defiantly a big year for Twin Atlantic,
they have shows lined up with Angels And Airwaves,
The King Blues and not to mention their own headline
tour and like mentioned above their debut album
is only a few months away from being released,
the word excited springs to mind.
5/5
