Templeton Pek are a Birmingham based band who have
been causing a lot of fuss in the underground scene
for many years now gaining a pretty dedicated fan
base in their travels, they are currently working
on their second studio album and have decided to
go against the usual music industry routines with
their latest single ’30 Seconds To Far’
by making it a 30 second running single which could
make history if it charts once released on the 31st
January.
Despite the fact that ’30 Seconds To Far’
only runs for 30seconds it does have a lot going
for it and proves to be quite a fast paced catchy
song with fantastic drum beats, fast guitar riffs,
catchy lead vocals and more high pitched backing
vocals to add variety to the song and yes like
you would expect the song is over far too soon.
’30 Seconds To Far’ may well be short
in length but Templeton Pek have proved that short
songs can be created and can also have the same
positive effect as your average length song and
the bands creativity and random ideas here has
made me pretty excited for their forthcoming second
album.
