Corey Taylor - Xm@$Corey Taylor - Xm@$

Corey Taylor is one of the most legendary front men of my time fronting everyone’s favourite metal band Slipknot and also everyone’s favourite melodic rock band Stone Sour and not to mention doing his own solo stuff during his spare time, well as the festive season is upon us Corey Taylor has decided to dig out a song he wrote more than 5 years ago and slightly rework it, record it and release it just in time for the race to the UK Christmas number 1.

‘Xm@$’ is a humorous Christmas song that runs for just over 2minutes and 30seconds, the song may be short in length but the quality and content of the song more than makes up for it with each and every second of the song being memorable and pretty damn hilarious, the chorus is extremely catchy with Corey singing “If I ain’t drunk then it ain’t Christmas, you know where to stick those jingle bells” other humorous moments during the song are when Corey sings “Lets buy some peace and quiet for a change before we spend it all on fucking toys” and not to mention the epic outro where Corey says “Hi Simon” as a nod to Simon Cowell and his Xmas chart hogging X-factor wannabees, the great thing with Corey Taylor is that he has a different vocal style for every occasion and his vocals here are so different than anything you would have heard in the past during his time with Slipknot and Stone Sour yet just as enjoyable.

It doesn’t seem to matter what Corey Taylor does he always seems to come across a winner when it comes to creating music and his fans and the majority of alternative music lovers are going to fall in love with ‘Xm@$’ straight away as in all honesty it is fucking legendary and beats the same old Xmas songs we have all been punished with for far to long.

I urge everybody to download 'Xm@$' on the 12th December when it is released to help get a true christmas song to number 1, you know it makes sense.
