Cradle Of Filth are back with their brand new
album ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus, Aversa’
which is due for release on the 1st November but
in the mean time they are releasing their new
single ‘Forgive Me Father (I Haved Sinned)
to give their fans a slight taster of what they
can expect from their new studio.
‘Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned) is quite
a dark feeling song with some brutal guitar riffs
and deep sounding vocals from Dani Filth who without
a doubt has unique sounding vocals that you are
either going to love or hate, the song is one
of the fastest songs that Cradle Of Filth have
created to date and the brutal sound mixed with
the catchy feel is bound to help the band snap
up new fans.
I will admit that I have never been a Cradle Of
Filth fan and never had time for them due to them
being a bit too extreme and noisy for me due to
Dani’s vocals which have always grated on
me, but this time around things sound slightly
different with the mix of Dani’s and Ashley’s
vocals giving a whole new feel to Cradle Of Filth.
Overall ‘Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned)
is good but I will wait until I have listened
to the album before I comment to much on the new
Cradle Of Filth sound.
