Plain White T’s got massive a few years back
due to their ever so catchy single ‘Hey There
Delilah’, the song sold by the lorry load
and helped the band embark on various sold out shows
across the world and major festival appearances
including a very good performance at the UK leg
of the Give It A Name Festival in Earls Court London,
well ever since then the Plain White T’s have
kept their reputation but none of their material
since has lived up to ‘Hey There Delilah’,
well the band are now back with a brand new single
‘Rhythm Of Love’ and a new album to
follow weeks later.
‘Rhythm Of Love’ is so damn different
from anything that the Plain White T’s have
done before, in fact I believe that their forthcoming
album shows a true to departure to the Plain White
T’s sound that we have all know for so long
and a nice new mellow acoustic rock sound has
been brought in. ‘Rhythm Of Love’
flows at such a beautiful pace, the vocals are
stunning and the acoustic guitar flowing through
the song gives out such an nice upbeat summery
sound, the song may be toned down compared to
previous Plain White T’s song’s but
it is very melodic and so damn quick and easy
to sing-a-long to.
Overall the song slightly reminds me of material
from Sugar Ray as it is so laid back and beautifully
sung, Plain White T’s are defiantly on form
for a good come back here.
5/5
