Sound OF Guns have been causing a noise across the
music scene for many months now, they are a massive
sounding arena rock band from Liverpool and they
clearly have a knack for written killer songs because
their recently released debut album ‘What
Came From Fire’ is fantastic and their latest
single ‘Elementary Of Youth’ is the
latest stand out single to be released from it.
‘Elementary Of Youth’ showcases the
best of Sound Of Guns, the instrumental work through
the whole single is fantastic and during the chorus
the song fully comes to life with soaring vocals
and immense instrumental work to match, the drumming
stands out nicely throughout especially just after
the 2minute mark where si smashing the crap out
of his kit for a good 10 seconds bringing the
song fully to life.
The B-side ‘Silent Canon’ is yet
another hard hitting song and could easily have
been released as a main single further down the
line for these guys but it seems like they like
to give their fans value for money by always having
a top notch b-side.
It is easy to see why Sound Of Guns are tipped
for big things because they are simply amazing
and ‘Elementary OF Youth’ is their
best release to date.
5/5
