I have been a major fan of Slaves To Gravity right
from the start, I loved their debut album ‘Scatter
The Crow’ and have seen them live many times
throughout their career and have yet to be disappointed,
their last single ‘Good Advice’ was
fantastic and now they are set to release ‘Honesty’
which happens to be the second single to be released
from their forthcoming second album ‘Underwaterouterspace’.
‘Honesty’ is a bit of a stunner of
a single and shows in every single way how Slaves
To Gravity have improved as a band and become
a much more mature sounding band, the guitar riffs
are thick and full of groove, the drum beats are
constant and pretty outstanding, the basslines
are catchy and Tommy Gleason’s vocals stand
out more than ever before.
Overall with ’Honesty’ I feel that
Slaves To Gravity have come up with a sound that
is so close to that of bands such as Stone Temple
Pilots and Velvet Revolver and it is only a matter
of time before they become superstars of the alternative
music world.
5/5
