Sky Ferreira is the latest female solo artist looking
for major success in the pop and judging by her
debut single ‘One’ she is certainly
on the right tracks to the success that she is looking
for.
‘One’ is a spinney electronic driven
song which is full of amazing electronic grooves
throughout and fantastic clear cut vocals from
Sky Ferreira, the song is so different from the
majority of music in the charts these days and
that is what is going to give Sky Ferreira the
upper hand in getting to where she wants’
to be, think Maria And The Diamonds, early Madonna,
electronic Blondie and you will have a basic understanding
of what to expect from Sky Ferreira but you will
still be blown away from the start.
Lady Gaga was the big solo artist of 2009 and
2010 but I feel that you need to watch Sky Ferreira
very closely over the next couple of months especially
as she gears up to release her debut album which
could take her to the next generation.
