Cypress Hill are back with their first album in
over six years and have just released ‘Armada
Latina’ which happens to be the first single
taken from the album.
‘Armada Latina’ features Pitbull
and Marc Antony and features a massive Spanish
sound and not your usual Cypress Hill rap-rock
sounds, the song is extremely infectious with
the Spanish sung chorus being sung by Marc Antony,
whilst B-Real takes over for his unique sounding
raps in places, with Pitbull and Sen Dog also
having their rapping moments, the song is very
unique sounding for a Cypress Hill song and that
is due to the whole Latina feel the song has thanks
to Marc Antony.
To be honest this wasn’t the comeback that
I was expecting for Cypress Hill, but you have
to give them respect because they have come back
with a single that is so different from anything
they have ever released before and it is upbeat
and infectious and will leave you wanting a one
way ticket to a hot holiday destination in no
time.
4/5
