Rase are a happy sounding poppy-indie band from
Birmingham who are best compared to bands such as
The Editors and The Twang, they have been around
for a short while now and are due to release their
latest single ‘Parachute’ at the end
of the month.
‘Parachute’, is a massive sounding
happy go lucky song which is infectious from the
opening drum beat to the closing soundscapes of
the song, the vocals are really upbeat and clear
sounding and within moments of listening to the
song you will find yourself singing-a-long to
the infectious sounds of ‘Parachute’.
The B-side ‘What’s On Your Mind’
is more of a mellow sounding song but at the same
time it still has the stadium feel of the main
single and a catchy twang which will surely help
Rase go further as there song’s start to
stick in people’s minds.
So far I love what I have heard from Rase and
I understand they have nearly completed their
album which should be out towards the end of the
summer and I am confident that it will be a release
well worth waiting for.
